Some detailed steps on how to enter the Competition

CONSIDER THE THEME

The theme for 2022 is

"Mathematics in Africa: past present future"

  • Be Original
  • Get Creative
  • Innovative

CREATE YOUR ARTWORK

  • Your artwork must be no smaller than A4 and no bigger than A2 in size
  • It must be mostly two dimensional. (Maximum 2cm height if relief work is used)
  • It must be handmade (any medium may be used)
  • It may not be a photograph or digitally enhanced image
  • Your name must not appear on the front of the artwork
  • Make sure you have read and understand all the Competition Rules

TAKE A PHOTO

  • Take the photo in good light
  • Make sure there is no background visible
  • No hands, fingers or faces in the picture
  • Your image may not exceed 5MB in size
  • Keep the original artwork safe for later. The finalists will be asked to post their original art for the final judging round
